Well, you know, that's one of the ways you cook fish. Or beef. I think it's something like you build these racks and leave the meat on them way over a fire so it's the smoke that cooks them. Or dries them. Something like that. And it adds flavor.
They liked plants so they ate them? That don't seem right. I mean, I like Leah so I really don't want to eat her. Also she's a cat and eating a kitten seems wrong. If they eat plants because they like them then what do they do to the stuff they don't like? And it's not nice to not like cows and chickens. It isn't their fault if they aren't pretty like tomatoes.
Exactly like weed. It's a very bad plan while you're in school. And also because of the whole mutant thing - sometimes things like that or alcohol do weird things with people's powers.
*shrug* Depends on the person and the power. Makes it harder for telepaths or anyone with an always on power to control it and anyone with enhanced strengh, like you, could injure someone pretty badly before you fell asleep because you might not realise you were using your powers.
It's like anything else, since we're mutants, some drugs do weird stuff to us. I can't take some kinds of cough medicine because it makes me barf, but codeine (It's a painkiller like aspirin only WAY MORE SO) works really really well on me.
If you had that DARE program in your school before and cops came to tell your whole school about how drugs are bad, they probably called it pot or maybe marijuana, btw. Reefer's a pretty old word for it - i mean like, my DAD calls it reefer, and I laugh at him.
Cannabis isn't all bad. It has a lot of medical uses and potential. Like slowing down Alzheimer's, killing brain tumor cells, alternative to chemo for breast cancer, pain, and a ton more.
It's more what you do with it than the plant itself. Because the allergy meds with decongestants can be used to make meth. But meth isn't all bad either. Abusing drugs is bad.
A reefer may also refer to a special type of container or ship designed to transport perishable items in conditions which have a set, controlled temperature so that they can travel long distances without the merchandise being ruined.
