A reefer is a fish that hangs out around coral reefs. Well, they eat the tiny fish that live in a coral reef. So they're reefers.

It's something adults smoke that's like a cigarette but it's a) ILLEGAL and b) something that would make you feel pretty gross.

A reefer may also refer to a special type of container or ship designed to transport perishable items in conditions which have a set, controlled temperature so that they can travel long distances without the merchandise being ruined.
